Empowering women to rebuild their professional and emotional strength through an 18-month reintegration journey.

Overview

rebirtHer is an 18-month, multi-iteration workforce reintegration journey crafted for women displaced by conflict, persecution, or gender-based violence (SGBV), who initially entered the workforce but fell out due to retraumatization from systemic, cultural, and workplace barriers.

rebirtHer is not a course — it is a structured, supported rebirth process — moving women from survival, to re-entry, to flourishing economic participation.

Every element is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and professionally rigorous.

The Three Iterations

Healing Phase

Iteration 1 – Healing Phase (Months 1-6)

Focus: Restoring emotional safety, professional confidence, and readiness for sustainable workforce re-entry.

Activities:
• Weekly trauma-informed workshops
• Career recalibration sessions
• Biweekly Kinship Circles
• Somatic healing exercises, storytelling labs, self-advocacy rehearsals

Assessment Milestone: Job Readiness Exam assessing emotional readiness, career knowledge, and workplace literacy.

Employment Phase Probation

Iteration 2 – Employment Phase (Probation) (Months 7-12)

Focus: Supported re-entry into the workforce through 6-month probationary employment placements.

Activities:
• Employment placements
• Implementation of the Triage Model (Participant + Mentor + Ally)
• Monthly structured check-ins
• Workplace culture adjustment coaching

Assessment Milestone: Midpoint Probation Review.

Employment Phase Full Staff

Iteration 3 – Employment Phase (Full Staff) (Months 13-18)

Focus: Sustained professional belonging, leadership development, and economic independence.

Activities:
• Continuation of Triage model
• Bi-monthly Financial Coaching Workshops
• Career advancement coaching

Assessment Milestones: Exit Exam and Financial Growth Tracker.
