Elizabeth Semowo PMP. M.A
Founder/ CEO
Elizabeth Semowo is the Founder and Program Director of RebirtHer Women Foundation, a trauma-informed workforce reintegration initiative born from her own lived experience of displacement and her unwavering commitment to gender equity.
With a graduate degree in Public Policy and Global Affairs and a specialization in Social and Gender Development, Elizabeth has spent over a decade leading projects that drive inclusion, equity, and resilience for marginalized communities. Her academic and practical focus on migrant integration gives her a unique lens through which she designs programs that truly meet women where they are, culturally, emotionally, and professionally.
Through RebirtHer, she fuses personal insight with professional expertise to create spaces where displaced women are not just supported, but seen, heard, and empowered to reclaim their careers on their own terms.

Anjana Donakonda M.A.
Chief Operating Officer
Anjana Donakonda is a development professional with over 10 years of experience in policy advocacy and community-centred solutions. With a master’s in Public Policy from UBC and Rural Management from XIMB, she has influenced key reforms supporting marginalized communities. She hold significant implementation experience across India and policy research in Canada. Her work spans livelihoods, women’s empowerment, governance, maternal health, and WASH, in collaboration with the World Bank, UN agencies, and government bodies. She also serves as a mid-level evaluator with UNESCO.

Sophia Minkah-Premo
Director of Programs
Sophia Minkah-Premo is a legally trained development consultant with interdisciplinary expertise in law, gender justice, public policy, and social impact. She holds an LLM in Business Law and a Bachelor of Law (Conversion) from the University of Law, UK, alongside a background in Gender, Race, Sexuality, and Social Justice from the University of British Columbia. Sophia has led and contributed to projects across sectors, including work on gender-based violence, child rights, education reform, and inclusive policy development. At SMP Development Consulting, she has supported national and international initiatives, drafting training manuals for UNICEF-funded programs, contributing to Ghana’s Gender and Domestic Violence Policies, and conducting research for legislative reform. In Canada, she has shaped policy on multiculturalism and anti-racism through community consultations and analytical reporting. Her work spans project management in nonprofits, legal tech, and data privacy, with experience in regulatory compliance, partnership growth, and academic digital archiving. Sophia’s approach is grounded in decolonial feminist theory and a commitment to advancing equity and human rights through practical, community-driven solutions.
